West Hollywood weddings & events
West Hollywood is the most LGBTQ+-inclusive wedding neighborhood in Los Angeles. Our team has worked more queer weddings here than anywhere else, and the calendar runs heavy June through September during Pride season and into peak wedding months. We work the full WeHo corridor: the Mondrian and Pendry on Sunset Strip, the Sunset Tower and Chateau Marmont on Sunset proper, the London West Hollywood, the Petit Ermitage, the San Vicente Bungalows for members-club weddings, and Soho House on Sunset Plaza. The bride or couple here often skews fashion-industry, music-industry, art-world. The look is more graphic, more gender-fluid, more willing to break with traditional bridal aesthetics. We carry an editorial-leaning kit alongside the classic-bridal one, and our team includes artists with extensive drag and theatrical experience for clients who want it.
WeHo events run later than the rest of LA. The 9pm ceremony with rooftop after-party going to 3am is normal. We adapt: airbrush as default base for any 8+ hour event, sealed lipstick over a long-wear stain, brows that won't budge through a dance floor. The look skews bolder than Beverly Hills, more polished than DTLA: fashion-week styling rather than wedding-magazine. We work non-binary clients regularly with no script change; we ask pronouns at the trial and we never assume what 'bridal' or 'groom' makeup should look like for any individual face.
Local venues
Eight years of West Hollywood weddings means we know the suites, the light, and the load-in protocols. Here are the venues we’ve repeatedly worked.
Streamline Moderne icon on Sunset Strip. Penthouse suites have city views and the best afternoon light in WeHo.
Iconic Skybar venue with rooftop ceremonies. Bridal suites face Sunset; we set up at the writing desk for natural light.
Modern luxury at Sunset Plaza. The Sky Pool deck hosts ceremonies; suite layouts are open-plan and accommodate two stations.
All-suite hotel with ample bridal-suite space. The 8th-floor terrace is the most-photographed first-look location in WeHo.
Bohemian boutique hotel with a rooftop ceremony space. Suites are small; we run one chair at a time for parties of 4+.
Members-only club weddings; vendor entrance via the south driveway. Bridal cottage has its own private suite with east light.
Members-club weddings with strict no-phone policies. We adapt our process and operate without phones in the room.
Sustainability-focused luxury hotel. Bridal suites have natural-fiber furnishings and excellent west-afternoon light.
Sunset Strip mid-century classic. Bridal suite layouts are reliable; we run two stations in the corner-suite category.
Rooftop receptions and after-parties. We don't glam at the bar; we glam in the suite below and walk up post-ceremony.

Local logistics
WeHo Saturday afternoon traffic on Sunset Boulevard is genuinely terrible; we route via Santa Monica Boulevard or Fountain Avenue for any 2pm+ load-in. The Sunset Strip hotels (Mondrian, Sunset Tower, Pendry) have valet-only access with curbside vendor cart drops; we factor 15-20 minutes of load-in beyond the door-arrival time. For members-clubs (San Vicente Bungalows, Soho House), we coordinate vendor passes 7 days ahead via the event manager. Pride Weekend (third weekend of June) closes Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny and La Cienega; we route via Beverly Boulevard.

West Hollywood FAQ
Constantly. WeHo is our heaviest queer-wedding neighborhood; our team has worked hundreds of LGBTQ+ ceremonies over 8 years. We never use script language that assumes a bride/groom dynamic, we ask pronouns at the trial and use them consistently, and we work non-binary, gender-fluid, and trans clients with the same default attention as any other client. If a couple has two people getting glam, that's just two clients on the morning schedule.
Yes, and we book Pride Weekend (third weekend of June) months in advance because the calendar fills. We work events on the parade route, after-party hotel events, and pre-parade private dinners. Traffic is the limiting factor; we plan a 60-minute additional buffer for any Pride Weekend booking and route via Beverly Boulevard.
Yes, both routinely. Both members-clubs operate strict no-phone, vendor-pass-only policies. We sign their NDAs, we operate without phones in the room, and we coordinate vendor entry 7 days ahead via the event manager. The bridal cottage at San Vicente Bungalows has its own private suite with east-light; Soho House bridal events use the upstairs library with ring-light support.
Extremely. It's our most-booked WeHo bridal suite. Two artists fit comfortably at the dressing room counter; the living room daybed becomes the photographer's first-look spot at 3pm when the light shifts west. We've worked this suite for 30+ weddings; we know exactly which corner has the best 8am light.
Yes. Rooftop ceremonies in WeHo are common March-October. Wind is a real factor at the Pendry's Sky Pool deck; we airbrush as default and recommend the touch-up artist add-on. Mondrian's Skybar is enclosed at the perimeter so wind is less; we still pre-set with translucent powder.
No. West Hollywood is well inside our 25-mile complimentary travel radius. There is no surcharge. The only extra cost we ever pass through is parking when a venue requires us to use their paid valet, typically $25-40 per car, charged at cost.
